Four Valve Manifold Rebuild

Gem Irrigation’s Lead Technician, Zach Terry, responded to a new customer in South Phoenix to diagnose a leaking irrigation system. After a thorough inspection, Zach found that a previous contractor had improperly sealed the pressure-side valve connections, allowing water to leak underground and waste water.

The valve box was carefully excavated, and the valves were rebuilt using proper thread seal tape (Teflon) and professional installation techniques. Once the repair was complete, the entire irrigation system was pressure-tested to verify there were no additional leaks and that every zone was operating correctly.

The customer was thrilled with the repair and the attention to detail. To keep the system running efficiently through Arizona’s hottest months, we’ve already scheduled a follow-up service in February to inspect the irrigation system, adjust the controller, and prepare everything for summer watering.
